The Picture of Dorian Gray is a wonderful dramatisation by Nick McCarty and directed by Gordon House. This is the story of a spoilt aristocrat, Dorian, who sells his soul for eternal youth, in an update on the Faustian Tale. The tempter is Lord Henry Wotton, who lives selfishly for amoral pleasure. The book highlights the potentially sinful whimsies of the upper classes that can lie beneath the veneer. Starring Jamie Glover, Ian McDiarmid and Steven Pacey (Monday at 9am, 8pm and 1am).
